Link2Life offers two options for mask fit testing:
- Qualitative Fit Testing
- Quantitative Fit Testing
Participants will be provided with the following information during their session:
- Respirator selection
- Respirator limitations
- Sensitivity test and fit test
- Donning and user seal checks
- Storage and maintenance instructions
- Cartridge dating, change frequency and limitations.
Fit testing is required in order to adhere to WorkSafe BC standards when wearing a respirator in the workplace – getting a mask properly fitted is essential for the safety of people working in an area where contamination is possible. Interested in booking a group mask fit test? Visit our group booking page or contact us. See below for individual mask fit testing options.
Qualitative Fit Testing
Qualitative fit testing is recommended for the majority of disposable respirators, such as the N95 and N100. This style of fit test uses a sweet or bitter solution and is a pass/fail test.
Please find all of our current qualitative fit testing dates here or see below.
Quantitative Fit Testing
Quantitative fit testing is recommended for full-face and 1/2 face reusable respirators. This style of fit test measures the number of particles both inside and outside a respirator to check for leakage.
