Traditional
Our traditional Standard First Aid with CPR and AED certification courses take approximately 16 hours which is generally split up over 2-days of in class learning. Classes run on weekends but during the summer and school holidays we also host weekday classes. This all-encompassing class includes lecture, team work and simulations with partners and CPR dolls. We will cover a wide range of First Aid topics from nose bleeds to major bleeding. Register, show up, and learn the basics!

Blended Learning
Have a little less time on your hands? Our flexible blended learning class includes a combination of approximately 8-hour independent online work followed by 1-day of in-class practical learning (16 hours total). All the parts of the class that would normally be covered in lecture format are completed online before class. Because everyone has done some preparation before class or is experienced with the course content (SFA re-certification), we can zip through one day of skill development and practise together to complete your certification.
The online portion of the class is very flexible. While it must be completed prior to the in-class session it can be completed all in one go or in smaller chunks, depending on your schedule. Once you sign up you will be sent instructions for how to access the online portal so you can get started at your convenience.
This is a fairly new Canadian Red Cross course option which has been very popular for our busy students. All of our regular Vancouver class dates are Blended Learning style classes and we can also work with you to organize a private class if you have a group that needs to be certified in SFA.
