CPR-C is for those who wish to learn and practice CPR skills for adults, children, and infants. A Lifesaving Society or Red Cross certificate is provided upon successful completion.
Who should take this class?
Anyone who would like to refresh their Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) skills including fitness professionals, lifeguards, occupational therapy students, and registered nurses.
Pre-requisite: currently valid CPR certificate – previous CPR class must have been taken within 3 years of the renewal course date. Must have been provided by one of the following agencies: Lifesaving Society, Red Cross, St. Johns Ambulance, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Ski Patrol. If you have not taken a CPR class before or it has expired, please check out our CPR full course options.
What will I learn?
This class is a review and will cover any new standards, as well as a chance to practice your skills. All of our lower mainland CPR certification classes will teach you how to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), how to prevent choking (obstructive airway procedures), how to use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and 2-rescuer CPR.
Add a Mask Fit Test!
Our 25-minute mask fit test is highly recommended (and often required) for health care providers. Simply add the Mask Fit Test to your cart before you check out. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer Mask Fit Testing at the Olympic Oval location.
