Psychological First Aid – Caring for Self
Suggested audience: Grade 11, 12, or Adult
Participants will learn to recognize the signs of stress in themselves, along with strategies to prevent and cope with different types of stress they may encounter. Content in this workshop builds toward the completion of a Self-Care Plan, to provide participants with a guide to their own resiliency. Learning is encouraged through the use of activities, discussions, and personal reflections.
Length: 1.5 hours

Participants will learn to recognize when a person is in distress, and how to offer help without assumptions or judgement. Content in this course will prepare participants to care for those in their community. Learning is encouraged through the use of activities, discussions, and personal reflections.
